Grade
This set is a grade B7 steel, which is widely accepted as the standard for high temperature and high pressure environments. When dealing with fasteners, you cant go wrong, as this set adheres to specifications in the ASTM A194 standard. This steel undergoes a heat-treatment process that contributes to its high tensile strength. B7 steel is known to withstand up to 125,000 psi (pounds per square inch). The point at which the material typically beings to deform permanently (it’s “yield strength”) is around 105,000 psi.
