1. What Product Comparison Does
Product comparison lets you view multiple items side-by-side so you can quickly see differences in:
- Price
- Features
- Seller ratings
- Shipping or availability
- Condition (new, used, refurbished, etc.)
It’s designed to help you make confident buying decisions without jumping between product pages.
2. How to Compare Products
- On a product listing, click the “Compare” or “Add to Compare” button.
- Repeat this for any other items you want to compare.
- Once selected, open the Compare Panel or Compare Page – you’ll usually see a small icon in your header or sidebar.
- The comparison table will display all selected products side-by-side.
3. Adjusting or Removing Items
- To remove an item, click the “x” next to that product in the comparison bar or table.
- You can add up to 4 products at a time (depending on your theme settings).
- Click Clear All to start over.
4. Tips for Best Results
- Try to compare items from the same category (e.g. power tools, laptops, apparel).
- Each product type shows its own relevant attributes — comparing unrelated items may show blank fields.
- Use filters before comparing to narrow your list.
5. Mobile Users
- On mobile, the comparison tool may appear as a pop-up tab.
- You can still add, remove, and scroll through comparisons easily.
