For Customers: Redeeming Coupons is Simple

If you’re a customer, redeeming a coupon is a breeze! Just follow these easy steps during checkout:

1. Find a Coupon Code: Browse through the available coupon codes that you’ve received or found.
2. Apply the Code: At checkout, look for the field that says “Have a Coupon Code?” and enter your code there.
3. Enjoy Your Discount: Once the code is applied, the discount will be reflected in your final price.

For Sellers: Creating Coupons with Flexibility

For sellers, creating a coupon is a bit more involved, but don’t worry! We’ll guide you step by step through the process. The best part? You can customize your coupons to suit different pricing strategies, offering you plenty of flexibility.

Step 1: Log in to Your Seller Account

1. Log In: Start by logging into your seller account. For the best experience, we recommend doing this on a computer.
2. Access the Dashboard: Once logged in, click on the menu at the top of the screen and select “Seller Dashboard.”
3. Not Registered? If you don’t see the dash board option, you might not be registered yet. Click here to register.

Step 2: Navigate to the Coupons Section

1. Once you’re on your Seller Dashboard, look for the ‘Coupons’ option and click on it. This will take you to your coupon area.
2. Ready to create a new coupon? Click ‘Add New Coupon’ to get started.

Step 3: Create Your Coupon

You’ll now be redirected to a page where you can set up your coupon. Let’s walk through each field:

• Coupon Title: Think of this as the name or code of the coupon (e.g., “Save10”). This will be the code your customers enter at checkout.
• Description: Here’s where you tell your customers what the coupon is offering. For example: “10% off your next purchase!” or “$20 off your first order.”
• Discount Type: Here, you can choose from various discount options:
  • Percentage Discount: A discount that reduces the price by a percentage. For example, a 10% discount on a $100 product brings the price down to $90.
  • Fixed Product Discount: A fixed amount off a product. For example, if a product costs $100 and you apply a $20 discount, the new price will be $80.
  • Booking Person Discount (Amount Off Per Person): Ideal for services or tours. This gives a discount per person, like $10 off for each person booking a tour.
  • Sign-Up Fee Discount: Use this if you want to offer a discount on the initial fee for a service or membership.
  • Recurring Product Discount: Perfect for subscriptions or memberships. You can apply a discount to recurring payments, like $10 off each monthly subscription.
• Amount: Enter the value of the discount here (for example, 10 for a 10% discount or 20 for a fixed $20 discount).
• Email Restrictions: If you want to limit coupon usage to certain customers, enter their email address here. This will verify against the customer’s billing email during checkout.
• Usage Limits:
  • Usage Limit: Set how many times the coupon can be used per order (typically set to 1).
  • Usage Limit Per User: This sets how many times a customer can use the coupon in multiple transactions. Typically, this is set to 1 to avoid misuse.
• Expire Date: Choose a date when the coupon will expire. Make sure it’s later than today!
• Exclude On Sale Items Checkbox: Check this box if you don’t want the coupon to apply to items already on sale. Per-item coupons will only work if the item isn’t on sale, and per-cart coupons won’t apply if any items in the cart are on sale.
• Minimum Amount: Set a minimum cart total for the coupon to apply. For example, a minimum order of $50 for the coupon to work.
• Product-Specific: If you want the coupon to apply to specific products, type in at least 3 letters to search for an item. You can also click ‘Select All’ to make the coupon applicable to everything or leave it blank for a more general coupon.
• Apply for New Products: If you want the coupon to apply automatically to future products, make sure to check this box.
• Exclude Products: If there are products you don’t want the coupon to apply to, type in at least 3 letters to search for the item and select it.
• Show on Store: If you want the coupon to be visible to customers browsing your store, make sure to check this box.

Step 4: Review and Create

Once you’ve filled in all the details, take a moment to double-check everything. Once you’re satisfied with your coupon setup, click ‘Create Coupon’.

Step 5: Managing Your Coupons

After creating your coupon, you’ll be redirected to the ‘My Coupons’ section. Here, you’ll see a dashboard with all of your coupons and their current status (active, expired, etc.).

You can also access ‘Marketplace Coupons’ from this area to view any coupons from the marketplace.

Step 6: Sharing Your Coupon

To share your coupon with customers, simply copy the Coupon Title (the coupon code) and distribute it through your preferred channels.

Important Notes

• Coupons and Taxes: Coupons are applied to the product price before taxes are calculated, so your discount will be reflected on the price before taxes are added.
